I was recently told of a woman who committed suicide...I only had one conversation with her...

we both frequented the same cafe. I believe she was about my age...late 50's, early 60's...and I really felt so sad....my first thought was...how do you leave behind those you love?...or who love you? Even if you only have a pet for family, how could you possibly walk away and not care what would happen ...how could you be so selfish? But I know nothing of her circumstances....whether she had financial problems, or a broken heart, or had lost someone and was in deep grief without them. I only wish something or someone could have meant enough to her so that she would have found reason to live.......

R.I.P. Prince

I was a young mom in the Eighties...I really wasn't into music the way I was when I was a kid in the Sixties...I grew up with Motown, then the British Invasion...I saw the Beatles twice in person...I was (and still am, at heart), a true rock and roller. But it's impossible not to appreciate the majestic talent of Prince...his music is timeless, I feel people will be "party-ing like it's 1999" well into the 2000's....a great talent, waaay too young to pass...rock on, Prince Rogers Nelson...
